Office of the Chancellor
As official Notary of the Archdiocese, the Chancellor is responsible for authenticating all official documents and ensuring that the acts of the curia as well as historic documents are gathered, arranged, and safeguarded in the archdiocesan archives.
Marriage packets going out or coming into the Archdiocese will come through the Office of the Chancellor. Please address the packet to Sister Jane Ann Slater, CDP, Chancellor. The Office of the Chancellor is also responsible for:
Letters of good standing for lay people
Requests for approval of Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Requests for dispensations and permissions in marriage preparation cases
Blank marriage packets and Form III Dispensation forms
